GIGS THAT I'VE ATTENDED - 1993
Any links on this page lead to reviews, memories, ticket stubs, photographs and other memorabilia from my collection.
The idea is to have a page for each concert eventually - when I find time to trawl trough the archives.
If anyone reading this was at any of these concerts and would like to jog my memory then feel free to contact me.

Joe SATRIANI  <1> Edinburgh Playhouse
1/02/93
£11.50 I liked the first three Satriani albums but two hours of it live was enough for me.
WOLFSTONE  <7> Glasgow University Union Debates Chamber
13/02/93
£5.00 A rather more ornate setting than usual for a Wolfies show.
FISH  <15> Elgin Bishops Mill Hotel
15/2/93
£ Fisrt night of the tour in a hotel that had the odd band on around this time to break the monotiny of underage drinkers!.
FISH  <16> Aberdeen Music Hall
8/04/93
£10.00 'Never Mind the Bullocks' tour.
PALLAS  <13> Aberdeen Lemon Tree
30/05/93
£5.00 An unexpected surprise this, my first pallas gig in five years. I believe this was really a warm-up for a Dutch show.
The VELVET UNDERGROUND  <1> Edinburgh Playhouse
2/06/93
£18.00 .
GALAHAD  <1>
SHADOWLAND  <1>
??  <1>
Whitchurch Musicians Convention 1993
Whitchurch Parish Hall
16/07/93
£ I'd been on a work training course in Reading and this festival was only slightly out of my way on the long drive home. Pallas were headlining the following evening but I was already booked into a Star Trek convention in Glasgow so had to settle for the first night and an overnight drive.
JETHRO TULL  <10>
MAGNUM  <11>
FISH  <17>
(Sensational Party Boys)  <1>
Tarlair Music Festival, Macduff
18/07/93
£19.50 FISH had Glenn/McKenna of SAHB guesting on Tea Party
The MOODY MARSDEN Band  <2>
The HAMSTERS  <1>
DUMPY'S RUSTY NUTS  <5>
MADNESS AT THE MINCHERY
Oxford Minchery Tavern Nite Club
30/08/93
£ We happened to be on holiday in and around London the week leading up to the show and, having spotted mention of it on the journey down from Scotland we popped in to buy tickets on the way down. On the day of the show we kept meeting people who were asking if we were the people who'd biked down from Scotland for the show!
JETHRO TULL  <11> Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
11/10/93
£14.00 Almost two hours of Tull in a hall that provided great sound. It is just a pity that the voice of Ian Anderson has seen better days.
DEEP PURPLE  <11> Manchester Apollo
5/11/93
£14:00 There is a whole tale behind this little tour jaunt.
DEEP PURPLE  <12> London Brixton Academy
7/11/93
£15.00 To find out about it you'll have to wait for me to write it up.
DEEP PURPLE  <13> London Brixton Academy
8/11/93
£15.00 Probably the best night of the tour.
DEEP PURPLE  <14> Birmingham NEC Arena
9/11/93
£14.00 Filmed and released on video (and now DVD) as Come Hell or High Water. Blackmore's last UK show with the band and an interesting show from a number of perspectives.
LITTLE ANGELS  <5> Aberdeen Capitol
7/12/93
£10.00 .
